A volunteer centre set up on the Isle of Wight in March has just announced its 100th opportunity for candidates, it has been reported.
Unpaid hospitality jobs are available at the Dimbola Lodge Museum at Freshwater, which may be of interest to those seeking positions to enhance their employment histories, according to the Isle of Wight County Press.
Helen Snashall, volunteer development officer for the Isle of Wight Volunteer Centre, said roles range from catering and administration to youth work and conservation projects.
"There's so much out there that people can get involved with whatever their interests, circumstances or availability,"
According to the organisation's website, many employers across the country are interested in how their staff can get involved in volunteering.
In related news, Adecco Retail said volunteering can be a good way to boost the CV for future employment prospects, especially if a person has been out of work for a while.
