Yorkshire holiday park seeks talent in Middlesbrough

A major hospitality recruitment drive is underway at a Yorkshire holiday park, with bar staff, managers, waiting staff and catering jobs up for grabs.

The special recruitment day on Wednesday February 13th at Middlesbrough Job Centre will aim to recruit up to 100 people for the Haven flagship resort at Primrose Valley near Filey.

Holiday parks in the UK are gearing up for the new season and Haven is looking to increase its recruitment in all areas, especially catering and hospitality, in order to fill vacancies for the upcoming summer months.

A Haven spokesman told the Evening Gazette: "We are obviously looking after people on holiday so we are very much looking for bright, bubbly personalities and people who will make our guests feel welcome.

"Being a team player is also very important and part of our induction process is an assessment of how people react and interact in a team environment."

The spokesman added that training will be given for all positions, with specialised training for individual areas of business.
