As many as 40 new restaurant jobs are to be created in Lincoln over the coming months with the opening of a new eatery in the city.
The Harvester Salad and Grill is to be located in Brayford Wharf North and is due to open at the end of next month.
A special event to recruit people into the vacant bar jobs and waiting and kitchen positions will be held tomorrow evening (September 1st) at the White Hart Hotel in Bailgate.
The restaurant's premises was previously a Scream bar called the Quayside, which was popular among students in the city.
Andrew Roache, external communications manager at Mitchells & Butlers, which owns both the Scream and Harvester Salad & Grill national chains, said: "The Quayside is situated in a great location and we firmly believe that a new Harvester restaurant will prove to be a popular addition to the local area."
Last month, it was reported that a new Hilton Double Tree Hotel was set to be built on Lincoln's Brayford Wharf North development, bringing many hospitality jobs to the area.
