Angela Hartnett is to take control of a new restaurant in London, according to reports.
A protege of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and a Michelin star winner, Ms Hartnett will be in charge of the brand new 80-seat restaurant run by Gordon Ramsay Holdings at the York and Albany Hotel in London when it opens in April, Caterer reports.
Mr Ramsay told the publication: "It's our first independent boutique hotel - a big step. It will have an amazing deli, and a wine room."
It is set to be a busy year for Ms Hartnett as she is also poised to head up the team at new Italian venue Murano, which opens in May.
However, her reputation for having a strong presence in the kitchen as well as a highly skilled chef looks set to work in her favour.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph earlier this month, fellow chef Marcus Wareing explained that despite the tough road she travelled to become successful, "she's still there".
"Angela is a grafter, she just battened down the hatches and got on with it. She's a true-grit chef."
