A new Jurys Inn hotel is being built in Aberdeen in response to high demand from tourism, it has been reported.
The hotel, which will have 203 beds, is part of a new development being built in Union Square in Aberdeen which is costing £250 million, the BBC says.
According to the news provider, a lack of hotel space resulted in a loss of £16 million in income in the tourism industry last year.
The hotel, which will be situated in Guild Street, will be eight storeys high and provide guests with conference facilities, as well as a restaurant, bar and cafe.
For those interested in working in hotels, Jurys Inn has various hotel jobs vacancies for "motivated, bright and friendly people".
The company needs chefs, guest service staff, as well as receptionists to welcome visitors.
Sheila King, head of retail leasing for Hammerson, the developer behind Union Square, told the BBC: "Jurys Inns is an excellent addition to Union Square."
