The owners of a new five-star restaurant and hotel in Mumbles have assured customers that they will continue to trade as normal, despite additional building plans.
Proposals have been submitted to link the building to a vacant property next door, which would allow it to become a residential home but only if the owners opt to go ahead with the scheme.
In the meantime, joint owner Craig Thorburn said the hotel and restaurant will be trading as normal and may to do so for another year and a half, reports thisisswansea.co.uk.
Opening night at the Knabrock attracted 350 guests and created 14 new jobs, which may be of note to those interested in hospitality recruitment.
Then-Assembly Heritage minister Rhodri Glyn Thomas praised Craig and Jay Thorburn shortly after the opening, saying: "The Thorburns are emblematic of the new Swansea, aiming to provide a quality product and service for the top end of the market."
Visit Wales recently awarded the restaurant hotel a five-star rating.
