Plans for a hotel refurbishment in Liverpool city centre are going ahead, despite difficulty experienced by the firm.
The Folio group acquired Grade II-listed Heywoods Building last year, but the opening date was postponed when the company went into administration, reports the Liverpool Daily Post.
However, a 36-room townhouse hotel will still be constructed on the site, opposite the city's Restaurant Bar and Grill which may be of note to those considering hospitality recruitment in the region.
A spokesman for insolvency firm MCR said the work on the site is till going ahead, confirming that the funds are in place to continue.
Paul Clark, lead partner at MCR, added: "To all our local clients large and small, the message is clear all 35 Folio Hotels throughout the UK are open for business and we would encourage customers to continue using their local Folio Hotel."
Folio, which was founded in 2005, has a group turnover of around £70 million.
