The opening date for a new 12-storey Jurys Inn hotel in Derby has been set, it has been reported.
According to the Derby Telegraph, the £20 million facility will welcome guests from Friday June 19th, creating 80 hotel jobs in the process.
Some 25 of the positions were advertised at a recruitment day staged by JobCentre Plus in the town on Saturday April 25th.
Described as being a premium budget hotel, the Jurys Inn development will contain 213 bedrooms and five conference rooms.
General manager Rachel Strange said she is keen to work with the local community and workforce to ensure the hotel is "a valuable asset" to the area.
She added: "We look forward to offering the people of Derby our famous Jurys Inn welcome."
Last month, the first Mour 'lifestyle' hotel opened for business in Sherwood Business Park in Nottingham offering luxury hospitality on a budget.
