A husband and wife team have created a number of hospitality jobs by turning a family home into a hotel and restaurant.
Hall Farm Hotel and Restaurant at Ashby-cum-Fenby in north-east Lincolnshire boasts eight double bedrooms and the new Roosters eatery following a £500,000 refurbishment, reports the Grimsby Telegraph.
Owners Matthew and Angela Durrant will be welcoming their first wedding guests on December 5th.
"We are absolutely delighted with how it has turned out and we are very buoyed by the initial responses we are getting from people. We want it to be the place in the area for people to stay, one of the top destinations of choice," Mr Durrant told the news provider.
The venture has created six hotel jobs, including a receptionist post, a night porter role and service staff positions.
A new chef is also being sought.
Last week, it was reported that the old Brooklands racecourse in Surrey is being redeveloped into a hotel, creating hospitality jobs in the area.
