Staff in hotel jobs at London's Dukes hotel have been handed one the highest accolades possible for their customer service after the five-star establishment was handed the World's Ultimate Service Award in Hospitality at the World Travel Awards.
This year's competition took place in Doha, Qatar's capital city. General manager Debrah Dhugga said she was delighted at the praise for her hotel and the team she worked with.
"The team's hard work, passion and our investment in training and development are the key to success at Dukes," explained Ms Dhugga.
She added that for every hotel, whatever its style or standard, service was the most important factor in ensuring success.
Dukes has 90 bedrooms and plays host to Thirty Six, Nigel Mendham's acclaimed British restaurant. It also houses Dukes bar, which View London describes as one of the most critically-acclaimed cocktail bars in the world and the "epitome of British style".
