People in hotel jobs at Premier Inn will be able to access the internet through Spectrum Interactive's broadband connection, after the UK Wi-Fi provider was chosen to supply internet access to all of the company's 600 British establishments.
The internet specialist will offer a hybrid of free and chargeable access to the hotel company and expects to complete its installation operations by the end of January.
Spectrum Interactive has worked with Whitbread, Premier Inn's parent company, in the past and currently supplies broadband to over half of the firm's UK hotels.
Siobhan Fagan, head of customer and business solutions at Whitbread, said the company's "aggressive expansion plans" made it necessary to secure a tailored and consistent broadband service.
"Flexibility, reliability and resilience were major factors in deciding on an exclusive Wi-Fi provider," added Ms Fagan.
Whitbread recently announced plans to open a Premier Inn hotel and Brewers Fayre restaurant in the Welsh town of Barry, according to the Barry and District News.
