Peach prepares to launch new outpost

A London-based licensee is to team up with the Peach Pub Company in order to launch a new hostelry, it has been reported.

The firm offers people who have worked in pub manager, chef and other senior hospitality jobs the chance to have a stake in their own pub as part of its joint venture scheme.

According to the Publican, John Taylor and his wife Liz – both of whom have extensive experience in the hospitality sector – are preparing to launch a pub somewhere close to Slough, Southampton or Reading.

Hamish Stoddart, the co-founder of Peach Pubs, told the publication: "John has a really strong vision for what his new business is going to be like, and this, coupled with the amazing experience he's had of running exceptional award-winning pubs all adds to our excitement at having him on board.

"Everyone's relishing the challenge of creating the next successful Peach joint venture partnership and building a profitable business together."

The Peach Pub Company currently has seven pubs in its portfolio and was named one of the best places to work in hospitality at the Caterer and Hotelkeeper awards earlier this year.
