A new site for a pub under the umbrella of Barracuda is currently being sought, it has been reported, with local jobs set to be created if one is acquired.

The pub group, which claims to be one of the UK's fast growing, has its eye on certain retail premises in the town of Mold, according to the Evening Leader.

Barracuda is currently in non-official talks with other local food and drink businesses and Mold Town council to deem whether the plan would suit the area.

The outlet would serve hot beverages in the morning and also turn into a nightlife hotspot for the town.

If given the go-ahead, this project will comprise part of the company's £6 million effort to secure new pubs and bars up and down the UK.

Barracuda says it seeks "keen, enthusiastic" people when it comes to hospitality recruitment, claiming to be able to provide a "satisfying role" with chances of career development to successful candidates, according to its official website.
