Hanley to get new bar and restaurant

Plans for a brand new bar and restaurant in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent have been given the go-ahead, it has been reported.
Wellington Chaparadza is reopening the former Chilled bar as the Mandela Club and Restaurant, reports thesentinel.co.uk.
As well as featuring live music, the stablisment will be open until 03:00GMT and 04:00 GMT on certain public holidays, which may be of note to those interested in restaurant work.
Brian Wain, who is acting as Mr Chaparadza's agent, said he hoped work could begin on the bar's renovation which would allow it to open in time for Christmas.
Richard Day, chairman of Hanley's City Centre Chamber of Trade, welcomed the proposals for an establishment that is in such a strong trading location.
"It is important that the retail and leisure offered in the city continues and it is important that properties such as this are filled again," he said.
Staffordshire Police's Stoke-on-Trent licensing manager Sgt Dave Wright confirmed that terms and conditions have been agreed.
