A Pizza Hut restaurant in Swindon is preparing to reopen following a major revamp.

Some £200,000 was invested into the refurbishment at Shaw Ridge, which will open for business tomorrow (March 26th), reports thisiswiltshire.co.uk.

Food from the new restaurant – which now has a contemporary new design and layout – will be sampled by customers and players from the Swindon Town Football Club on opening night.

Simon Cheetham of Pizza Hut said: "It's great to be able to re-open the restaurant, which looks fantastic.

"I'm really looking forward to welcoming customers to try our great value pizza, pastas and salads in a new stylish environment.

"I know they will be impressed with how much it has changed."

Pizza Hut is investing £100 million for a six-year refurbishment programme across its eateries, which may create restaurant work at some outlets.

It was recently reported that Jurys Inns is planning to launch a new 229-room hotel in Swindon - which will create between 60-80 hotel jobs.
