A revamped eatery in Stokesley, North Yorkshire has opened, providing a number of new restaurant jobs.
The establishment, formerly known as the Cooks' Cafe, reopened its doors after a £150,000 makeover courtesy of new owner, local businessman Graham Howard, and even has a new name Howards, reports the Northern Echo.
A new restaurant manager and head chef, with 30 and 15 years' experience in their respective trades, have been appointed and the team hope to start a new era at the eatery.
"It is a great privilege to have such experienced people at the helm who have worked at some of the best restaurants in the north-east and who are helping to put Stokesley on the culinary map," Mr Howard told the newspaper.
Hospitality recruitment in Yorkshire received another boost earlier this month, with the news that Bradford Asian restaurant and food manufacturing group Mumtaz Food Industries opened a restaurant in Leeds, providing up to 100 positions.
