A High Wycombe restaurateur is highly confident his new eatery has what it takes to pull in the customers as the recession ensues.
Eddie Raffiq, 31, has created chef jobs and other restaurant work in the Buckinghamshire town by opening a new branch of Kebabish Original in Oxford Street, reports the Bucks Free Press.
He said he hopes to attract people from all different backgrounds and walks of life into the restaurant, which will offer a mixture of Pakistani and Mediterranean dishes.
Mr Raffiq explained that he had been working in restaurant manager jobs since leaving university and was fulfilling a long-standing ambition to open his own business.
"I think we have an edge as we're like nothing else in town, we want this to be a nice environment for people to come to have a meal," he added.
Last month, getsurrey.co.uk reported that contract catering jobs are to be created in Surrey by the refurbishment of Nonsuch Mansion House.
London-based caterer Bovingdons was revealed to have won a tender to provide hospitality services at the facility.
