The Fountain Inn in Tenbury, Worcester, will be reopened over the August bank holiday weekend by husband and wife team Mark and Natasha Griffiths.
Mr and Mrs Griffiths confirmed that a number of new hospitality jobs will be created as part of the opening, but could not say how many people would be recruited, reports the Ludlow and Tenbury Wells Advertiser.
The pub closed almost exactly nine months ago, until it was bought by the couple along with Mark's mother and father, Barbara and Richard Griffiths.
Until recently, both had been employed at the Cadmore Lodge in St Michaels, where Mark was working as a chef and Natasha was an assistant pub manager.
"We know that this is a tough time to open a business but we are very excited," Mrs Griffiths told the news provider. "The Fountain has a good name and when it closed it was a real blow to the town."
Upmarket lounge bar Nouveau which will see numerous local jobs being created was recently given the green light by Birmingham's licensing committee.
