New restaurant jobs are set to be created in Cheshire as a businessman opens a new eatery in the town of Sandbach.
Speaking to the Crewe Chronicle, Richard Shaw revealed that the Glasshouse bar and restaurant should create 30 new hospitality jobs when it opens.
Mr Shaw and his business partner Karl Unitt also expect the move to boost the fortunes of Sandbach, as well as its nightlife.
"We hope the Glasshouse can inject a bit of life into the town's night-time economy by becoming part of a circuit of venues customers tour on a night out," Mr Shaw said.
The new eatery will open at the site of Sandion's, which was forced to close in January 2008.
According to Mr Shaw, there has already been a high level of interest in the restaurant jobs the new establishment will offer.
Recently, it was revealed the firm behind brands such as Garfunkel's, Chiquito and Frankie & Benny's could create new restaurant jobs as it looks to expand.
The Restaurant Group confirmed it will look to open new eateries across the UK.
