A junior chef from London has won the opportunity to work in the world's best restaurant after being crowned Spanish Young Chef of the Year.
Selin Kiazim, a junior chef at The Providores in Marylebone, beat other talented British chefs in the final to secure a dream job at El Bulli in Spain's Costa Brava.
She wowed the judges with a delicious meal of pan-fried hake, roasted Iberico pork and almond cake with sherry ice-cream.
The 23-year-old will spend at least three days at the restaurant, widely renowned as the world's best.
She told the London Evening Standard: "I know how difficult it is to be able to do a stage [cook] there or even be able to eat there, so I feel extremely lucky to have the chance to do so."
Fifteen-year-old Louis Despres from Southbourne in Hampshire recently won the Bournemouth and Poole area final of the Rotary Club's Young Chef of the Year competition.
