McDonald's gives boost to Kent restaurant jobs

Fast-food chain McDonald's is set to create 30 restaurant jobs in Kent after the firm invests in improving its current operation in the county, according to one website.
KentOnline.co.uk stated that five restaurants have been given a facelift in the region and the improvements will also see a further £300,000 invested in the eateries.
Richard Forte, chief operations officer for McDonald's, said that the reimaging programme in Kent will give an extra boost to the local economy and particularly help with youth unemployment.
"We're delighted to continue our extensive reimaging programme in Kent ... changes at our restaurants are well received by our customers so we will continue to bring a more modern and convenient eating-out experience to them," he stated.
People looking for work in Leeds could be bolstered by the news that there is a new Mediterranean restaurant opening in the city, creating 25 catering jobs in the process.
