The latest restaurant to be opened by one of Britain's most well-known TV personalities will create at least 20 chef jobs in Berkshire and serve his trademark dishes.
Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant will open today at The Oracle Riverside in Reading and makes the seventh UK branch.
He told GetWokingham.co.uk: "There's no doubt the Reading restaurant is going to be special and I know that the businesses and the people who live in the surrounding area are going to love what we do at Jamie's Italian."
The shopping mall's boss, Steve Belam, added that the restaurant's relaxed attitude and delicious Italian menu is a welcome addition to the complex and he is sure it will be very popular with consumers.
Jamie's Italian will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, serving pasta dishes from £5.
The Berkshire restaurant follows the opening of another Jamie's Italian in Cambridge which, after a month of being open, had served more than 17,000 people, according to figures from the TV chef's website.
