Gordon Ramsay has given a boost to London restaurant jobs when he re-opened a Michelin-starred establishment in the capital yesterday (March 29th).
The Hell's Kitchen star will helm a brand new incarnation of Pétrus, a short distance from its previous premises. Which are now home to Marcus Wareing's first successful solo project, Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley.
Pétrus will have Sean Burbidge as head chef, who will work closely with Mark Askew, who has been an executive chef of Gordon Ramsay Holdings over the past decade.
"Burbidge joined Gordon Ramsay Holdings in 2003 and has progressed from chef de partie to sous chef, and in March 2008 moved to Versailles to launch Gordon Ramsay at the Trianon Palace," reported Harpers.co.uk.
Jean-Philippe Susilovic also returns as director of the restaurant and he had been director of the previous Pétrus for five years.
Gordon Ramsay is currently looking for the best restaurant in the UK as part of his Ramsay's Best Restaurant series.
