Ask Italian could offer sous chef jobs at its new establishment opening later this month in Glasgow, after redeveloping a former city centre hotel to house its second eatery in the Scottish city.
Around 15 jobs are expected to be created as part of the venture, reports the Evening Times.
The Park Inn site will follow the development of an outlet at Springfield Quay five years ago and mark the London-based company's expansion in the Scottish market.
Owners Adam and Sam Kay now have over 100 restaurants across the country.
The company explained that the offer of such a central site was impossible to turn down.
"It's right next to Glasgow's transport links, it's close to the theatres, the cinema and so many people walk and travel past it," said head of northern operations Rob Powell.
Ask Italian will join a thriving restaurant scene in Glasgow's city centre, with Glasgow Guide citing 48 and Amber Regent as indicative of the quality available to diners in the area.
