The company has built a 98-bedroom, six-storey hotel on the former site of Parcel Works close to Newcastle's Central Station, reports Caterer and Hotelkeeper.

It opened its first outlet in Cardiff in 2008 and intends to use a recent £7 million investment to open new hotels around the UK.

Sleeperz Hotels has announced its first establishment in the north-east will open its doors in the city centre in December, with 25 hotel jobs set to be created at the 98-bedroom property.
